Saffron Latte
A modern take on kesar doodh — frothy, lightly spiced and Instagram-gold. Saffron powder dissolves in seconds, so this comes together as fast as your morning coffee, with none of the soaking.

Ingredients
- 250 ml milk (dairy or oat)
- 1 small pinch Baby Saffron powder (or 6 threads, bloomed)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla (optional)
- A tiny pinch of ground cardamom
Method
- 1
Warm the milk gently until steaming — don't let it boil.
- 2
Whisk in the saffron powder, honey, vanilla and cardamom until fully dissolved and golden.
- 3
Froth with a handheld frother (or blend for 15 seconds) until light and foamy.
- 4
Pour into a cup, dust with a little extra saffron on the foam, and serve.
Powder is your friend here. A small pinch of Baby Saffron powder whisks straight into warm milk for instant colour and aroma — no threads to strain, no waiting.
